Red Desert Cooling & Electrical are currently looking for a qualified Refrigeration Mechanic to join our dynamic organisation, based in modern facilities in West Kalgoorlie.
This is an opportunity for an experienced and energetic individual to work for a well-respected business whilst growing your breadth of experience with the full support of our experienced team.
Your key role will be to perform day-to-day inspections, fault analysis, preventative, and breakdown maintenance of package units, refrigerated air dryers, ice machines, process chillers and split system air conditioners, as well as supporting our projects and system installations.
Your excellent interpersonal skills will see you maintain good customer service relationships with other onsite departments and contractors.
- Certificate III Refrigeration & Air - conditioning
- Refrigerant handling license (ARC Tick)
- WA Restricted Electrical License (minimum)
- At least 5 years’ experience.
- Current Senior First Aid
- A current manual driver's license
- Working at heights / Confined Space tickets (preferred)
- A solid knowledge of workplace health and safety practices
- The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
